Here’s a simple recipe for delicious cheeseburger sliders!
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef (80/20 is ideal for juiciness)
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
12 slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
6 slices of cheddar or American cheese (cut in half to make 12 squares)
2 tbsp butter, melted
1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
Pickles, ketchup, mustard, or any toppings of your choice
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the Beef Mixture:
In a skillet, sauté the chopped onion and garlic until softened.
Add the ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned. Drain any excess grease.
- Assemble the Sliders:
Slice the slider buns in half horizontally, keeping the tops and bottoms attached to each other.
Place the bottom halves in a baking dish or on a baking sheet.
Spread the cooked beef mixture evenly over the buns.
Place the cheese slices on top of the beef.
- Add the Toppings:
Add pickles or any other toppings you like on top of the cheese.
Cover with the top halves of the buns.
- Bake:
Brush the tops of the buns with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds if using.
Cover loosely with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes until the cheese is melted.
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes to make the buns crispy.
- Serve:
Remove from the oven and slice along the lines to create individual sliders. Serve with ketchup, mustard, or any other condiments you prefer.
Enjoy your tasty cheeseburger sliders!
